Following extensive work by the team and support from our academic hosts at the University of Chester we are pleased to report successful operation and testing of our pilot rig. Our first tests successfully demonstrated operation of the pre-treatment steps which quenched and cleaned the exhaust of our test diesel engine before cooling it to below -80oC. We now have commissioned the separation stage of the rig and achieved operational temperatures for carbon capture. There will be a programme of tests to characterise the process prior to a demonstration to guests planned for mid-January.
